Session 5 of Yintai Salon for "The Chiang Family and Modern Chinese History Research Program", hosted by Yintai Foundation, was held at the Lee Shau Kee Academy of Humanities, Peking University. The salon was themed "Opening the Black Box of History-Decryption of Modern History Archives of Hoover Institution". Lin Hsiao-ting, Curator of East Asian Collection at the Hoover Institution gave a lecture. Wang Qisheng, a professor at the Department of History, Peking University hosted the salon.

The seven-day Yintai Foundation 2016 Young Scholar Workshop on "the Chiang Family and Modern Chinese History Research Program" has been wrapped up, and the closing ceremony was held. Yang Tianshi, a researcher at the Institute of Modern History CASS; Chen Hongmin, Director of the Center for Chiang Kai-shek and Modern Chinese History, Zhejiang University; Lai Chi-kong, a professor at the Department of History and Director of the Business History Research Center, University of Queensland; Jin Bo, Secretary General of Yintai Foundation and the young scholars of the workshop attended the ceremony.
