On November 3, 2014, Intime Retail officially declared that its Hangzhou West Lake Yintai was renamed West Lake Intime City and will open to service on November 7. From a department store-defined Hangzhou West Lake Yintai to West Lake Yintai City, the escalation does not simply constitute an update on surface decoration or equipment, but more importantly a shift from a department store to a shopping center, which is a revolution in terms of both definition and business.

The event was designed as a communication platform for brands and customers, elevate the brand image of Intime Shopping Center (Intime City), introduce projects that will open to service in 2015, and make preparation for investment promotion of Chengdu Intime City, Wuhu Intime City, Ningbo Intime Global City, Panzhihua Intime City, Cangnan Intime City, Pingyang Intime City, Xiaogan Intime City and Jingmen Intime City. The ceremony was attended by nearly three hundred people including Yintai Group leaders, project owner representatives, brand owner leaders and media reporters.

A few days earlier, Intime Retail (Group) had reached a 3-year strategic agreement with Hangzhou Marathon over the promotion of sports aesthetics, health lifestyle and new commercial civilization and released the "Nothing but Forward" program. The group also sends 300 of its employees to participate in the Hangzhou Marathon to show their passion for sports.

On October 20, the "Yintai + Hangzhou International Marathon" strategic cooperation and brand program news release was held in front of Intime Retail's Hangzhou Wulin Outlet, declaring that Intime Retail (Group) has reached a 3-year strategic agreement with Hangzhou International Marathon, Yintai will be a title sponsor for "2014 Hangzhou International Marathon" ("Hangzhou Marathon"), and will distribute the last 1,000 places for participating in the run for free. The "Nothing but Forward" brand campaign was started at the same time.

On October 17, at the 2014 Linkshop Storm Hero in Qingdao, Intime Retail, jointly with www.linkshop.com.cn, launched a "Joint Operation" targeting Chinese retailers, which proposed serving customers nationwide together from November 11 through 16 under the "Chinese Shopping Festival" theme and also declared the Yintaibao will be open to peers as a move to promote intra-industry merge and sharing

On October 16, 2014, Intime Retail declared that its 16th anniversary (November 16) will turn into a Customer Celebration, which will eventually become a carnival for both online and offline shoppers in the name of Chinese Shopping Festival lasting from November 11 through 16 as a joint event with Alibaba

On October 15, 2014, the 1st "Shenguojun Teacher & Student Scholarships" awarding ceremony of Fenghua No.2 Middle School was held on the school playground. President of Yintai Group, outstanding alumnus of No.2 Middle School and sponsor of Shenguojun Teacher & Student Scholarships Shen Guojun attended the ceremony together with local government and educational leaders.

The 1st Love@ Together photography competition of Yintai Group draws to an end at the end of September after two months' hot competition.

In April 2014, at the live green building symposium held by China Construction Industry Association in Chengdu, the 8th Division of China Construction Corp, as the builder of Chengdu Yintai Centre, introduced the building waste "zero emission" practice of Yintai Centre projects, saying that this practice can serve as a guide for the green and circular development of the industry.
