The 5th Annual Summit on China Cultural Tourism Consumption and the Dragon Bird Award Ceremony was held in Shanghai of late. Yintai Tourism’s Fangyan Scenic Area in Yongkang won the award “Best Sustainable Demonstration Zone As A Mountain Destination” at the 5th Dragon Bird Awards.

The Dragon Bird Awards is one of the most influential awards in the cultural tourism industry. After review by the organizing committee, public voting, and selection by expert panel, Fangyan Scenic Area in Yongkang won the award “Best Sustainable Demonstration Zone As A Mountain Destination”.

Fangyan Scenic Spot is a national-level scenic area, a national natural heritage site, and a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is one of the first batch of key scenic spots in Zhejiang Province and an integrated multi-cultural scenic spot. It is not only home to stunning natural scenery of mountains and rocks, but also known for local clean government culture of “being an official who truly brings benefits to local community” embodied by ancient government official Hu Ze. It also boasts immortal red culture, legacy of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, intangible cultural heritage, and film and television culture. As such, visitors could experience its various cultural features during their tour.

In late 2020, Fangyan Scenic Area received an official approval to join the China Tourist Attractions Association as a member. Going forward, Fangyan Scenic Area will continue to develop innovative tourism products, further unearth its cultural value, strengthen the quality of its tourism services and enhance tourists’ travel experience, thereby continuing to contribute to the tourism industry.
