Alipay’s “Angel Code” user personas recently unveiled the Top 10 most popular “Angel” scenic areas in China. Three Yintai Tourism scenic areas, namely, Zhejiang Yongkang Fangyan, Shanxi Yanmen Pass and Zhejiang Xikou Xuedou Mountain, were ranked among the Top 10.
In February this year, as an expression of gratitude to frontline medical workers, Yingtai Tourism’s scenic areas were the first to offer medical workers nationwide (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) free admission until end-2020.
At the beginning of April, Yintai Tourism was part of the first batch of Alipay “Angel Code” implementation entities in the country, and its scenic areas in Zhejiang Xikou Xuedou Mountain, Zhejiang Yongkang Fangyan and Shanxi Yanmen Pass implemented the use of the “Angel Code”. All medical workers nationwide (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), upon validation of professional identity via Alipay, would receive an “Angel Code”, and be entitled to free travel reception upon code scanning. Medical workers, numbering some 400,000, have claimed the Code since the online launch of the function, and have been entitled to Angel Code tourism services at more than 150 participating scenic areas and over 4,000 venues across the country.
The three operating scenic areas under Yintai Tourism are all state 4A/5A-class scenic spots with their own landscape and cultural characteristics, and have become first choice tourist destinations for medical workers.
