Many were finally able to enjoy their long-anticipated spring travel plans over the recent Labour Day holiday, resulting in the first post-COVID-19 mini-travel peak. All of Yintai Tourism’s scenic areas, while ensuring full COVID-19 precautionary measures were in place, also made meticulous arrangements so that all visitors could enjoy this unique golden week comfortably and in an orderly manner.
Zhejiang Xikou Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area had an orderly reopening by implementing a “code scanning and certificate presentation” cum “temperature screening admission” mechanism, as well as a visitor quota system. An online booking system was adopted, and floor signs at 1.5-meter intervals were placed at all popular sights and queuing areas in the scenic area to ensure safe distancing between visitors. Medical staff and anti-epidemic vehicles were also on standby at various spots in the scenic area. During the holiday period, all staff of the scenic area were present at their posts. External security personnel were also engaged to ensure a safe sightseeing experience.
At Fangyan Shiguliao Film & TV City, where hit TV series such as Serenade of Peaceful Joy and Winter Beognia were filmed, featured performances were staged consecutively, offering visitors a dual visual and cultural experience. At the newly opened Hu Ze Memorial Hall, visitors, while admiring the amazing danxia landform, also got to know Fangyan and Hu Ze in greater detail.
At Yanmen Pass Scenic Area, meticulous arrangements were made in advance, and contingency plans such as those related to prevention and control, fire safety, and reception were formulated. A booking system and prompt announcements pertaining to the visitor flow quota were made promptly. All visitors entered the scenic area in an orderly manner according to the “booking-code presentation and registration-temperature taking-mask wearing” epidemic precautionary measures.
During the Labour Day holiday, Yanmen Pass Scenic Area launched a performance art series, entitled “Time travel through Yanmen Pass”. The immersive situational drama, Once Upon a Time at Yanmen Pass, also premiered on May 1. The diverse range of activities and strong participative free performances were well-received by the visitors.
