Yintai Group issues 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Report on Environmental Protection

Yintai Group recently issued its 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Report on Environmental Protection, which summarized and reviewed the environmental protection practices it carried out and the results it achieved in 2019 in terms of green management, green operations and green philanthropy.

As a corporate citizen that actively carries out its environmental protection social responsibility, Yintai Group, under the leadership of Founder and Chairman Shen Guojun, takes this responsibility very seriously. Internally, the Group has continuously enhanced accountability management, raised its ability and standards to perform its responsibility, and supported by Yintai Foundation, promoted putting it into practice together with other business departments. Externally, by bringing its advantages into play, Yintai has promoted cross-industry collaboration, advocated participation from a diverse group of entities, and transmitted its environmental protection philosophy by putting it into practice together with its partners to jointly seek social prosperity and sustainable growth.

In the past year, Yintai Group implemented green development philosophy comprehensively, and by continuously improving its green operating mechanisms, ensured that green practices were carried out across all its business divisions. It continued to achieve significant results in green operations, green architecture, green mine construction and protection of ecological scenic spots. 

For instance, Yintai Gold actively promoted green mine construction. The company’s Huaaobaote Mine of Inner Mongolia Yulong Mining Industry Co., Ltd. and Dong’an Gold Mine of Heilongjiang Heihe Yintai Mining Company were simultaneously included in the 2019 National Green Mines list. Yintai Tourism invested close to RMB5 million in ecological environmental protection to treat 56,000 square meters of rivers and river basins. It also planted 5 million trees, 2,500 kg of flowering seeds, and rehabilitated vegetation cover by closing mountains and prohibiting grazing, effectively protecting the ecological environment of scenic spots.

Elsewhere, Shen Guojun, member of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC and Founder and Chairman of Yintai Group, submitted a proposal on conservation easement, which was highly valued by the Ministry of Natural Resources, and included in the legislative process. Meanwhile, the “Blue Pioneers” program for which Yintai Foundation is a participant and sponsor has carried out three consecutive training sessions, helping to develop ocean conservation talent for China.

In 2020, Yintai Group will continue to respond to the call of the Party and the nation, and while taking the Group’s actual conditions into close consideration, continue to enhance its strategic focus in ecological conservation. The Group will stay true to its mission, forge ahead with its aspirations while being practical and sensible so as to contribute to the building of a clean and beautiful China as well as a harmonious and lovely home on earth.
